Seoul in June - all a bloom
Leaving on a jet plane.... The kids settle in for the flight home. Would you want to spend 16 hours strapped into a seat next to these two? Way to go Nancy! And they all lived!
Well, no doubt about it there's a lot to home leave that's not fun: Doctor's appointments, house repair, international airports, airplane delays, damaged luggage, customs....  But fortunately there are two good really good reasons to do it: Friends and Family. The photos below illustrate what made our home leave great. We didn't get to see everyone we wanted to, but we sure saw a bunch of you. Next year we hope to be more organized and have even more pictures to share.  Thanks to everyone for making time for us and listening to our endless tales of Seoul.
One thing about those Dickinson kids...they both LOVE horsepower. Sarah takes it a bit more literally.
Thanks to Danny and Michelle Kellermeyer for playing host to us at their place and letting the kids check out their toys. We had a great time.
Obviously, while I find the home repair portion of home leave not so fun, Josh has different ideas. Here he lends me a hand painting the new pedestrian door to the garage (the old one rotted out and some ants moved in). Oh, the joys of home ownership!
Back in Seoul, the kids started school in early August. They were thrilled (no really... look at those smiles).
Late summer in Seoul - Still bloom happy.
