Josh - Named "Superwriter" twice in February
by his teacher.
Yeouido Island and the 63 building (gold building). Tallest Building in Korea at (you guessed it) 63 stories.
Seoul takes on a mysterious look as dusk falls.
Rush hour as seen from our mountain. This is light traffic as this was the final vacation day of the Lunar New Year.
Cheonggyecheon Stream in Seoul. Cheonggyecheon is a popular place to visit for people in Seoul as it has many play features for children, such as stone crossings and misting fountains, and rest areas for adults. You can walk for miles next to the stream so it is a popular exercise area also.

From the 1960's to 2003 the stream had been paved over with city streets and for long stretches an elevated highway existed above it. From 2003 to 2005 the government unearthed and restored the stream as an eco-environmental project. Although there are ongoing issues with financial fraud (common with big projects in Asia) and although it is criticized by environmentalists (water has to be pumped in as the original stream feeds were destroyed long ago), it is very popular with residents.

Visit here as a foreigner and you will likely be approached by many people (adults and school children alike) who wish to practice their English skills.
Totems at the entry to our apartment
On February 10th, we hosted a party at our apartment club house for my team at work and their families. Everyone had a great time, especially the kids. Language problems are not an issue for kids
Korean cake - That's real fruit on top. There are chunks of pineapple and orange in the cake itself. Very good and they claim good for you...who are we to argue?
Josh turned 6 in January!  That's his black and white cake in front - Chocolate moose, vanilla moose and Chocolate cake.  Topped with cookies, brownies and black & white chocolate rolls. Purchased at the French bakery down the street - Yummy!
